James Wojcik

James Wojcik is an accomplished still life photographer working in editorial and advertising in both online and traditional media. Mr. Wojcik graduated from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in 1981 with a B.F.A. in Photography, is based in New York City and has worked with clients in major image capitals globally. His compelling photos have appeared in media such as Vogue, Vogue Brasil, Italian Vogue Gioiello, New York Times Magazine, Newsweek, French Vogue, Vanity Fair, GQ, Teen Vogue, Allure and Time Magazine to illustrate stories ranging from food to beauty, fashion to finance, technology to teenagers. Mr. Wojcik has photographed successful campaigns for clients including Nike, Gap, Target, K-Swiss, Clinique, D&G, Nestle, DKNY, AT & T, Vera Wang, MTV, Coach, Mumm’s, and H. Stern.

Mr. Wojcik has also exhibited his fine art photography at Diechtorhallen Hamburg, Galerie Isabelle Bongard, La Gallerie Maeght and at the Palais De Chaillot for Exposition Gitanes in Paris as well as Bonni Benrubi and Paolo Baldacci Gallery in New York. His photos were also featured in Blindspot issues #6 and #20. In 1998, he won a coveted Alfred Eisenstaedt Award for Magazine Photography for the cover of Twice Magazine and was nominated the following year for a ten-page story in House and Garden Magazine. Mr. Wojcik’s work has also been commissioned for exhibition in cultural hubs such as The Alphabet Café in Kyoto Japan and the International Food Festival in Sydney. His latest fine art series include provocative images of his self-cultivated oysters and compositions of discarded objects found on the beaches of Shelter Island, NY.
